TactStaff EDU is connecting with passionate School Social Workers interested in opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year in Seattle, Washington and surrounding communities.

We are seeking dedicated professionals committed to supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral well-being to enhance academic success. Opportunities may include placements in public schools, charter schools, and specialized education programs across the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Washington State School Social Worker certification

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required

• Must meet Washington State and OSPI requirements for school-based practice

• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary school team

Experience

• Experience providing social work services in a school setting

• Strong knowledge of IDEA and Washington State special education compliance standards

• Experience supporting students with social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs

• Ability to develop and support IEPs, behavior plans, and intervention strategies

• Experience collaborating with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and families
