Job Description

School Speech Language Pathologist
2026–2027 School Year
Dallas, TX

TactStaff EDU is connecting with passionate School Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) interested in opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year across the Greater Dallas area.

We are seeking dedicated clinicians committed to supporting students with speech, language, articulation, fluency, and communication disorders that impact academic success and daily functioning. Opportunities may include placements in public schools, charter schools, and specialized education programs across the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
As schools begin planning for the upcoming academic year, this is a great opportunity to connect early, learn about anticipated needs, and position yourself for school-based roles.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Must hold or be eligible for Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
  • Texas Education Agency school credential for Speech-Language Pathology services may be required depending on the assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered depending on assignment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders affecting educational performance.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services for articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs.
  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain compliant documentation and therapy progress reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Consult with educators, related service providers, and families to support student communication development across school environments.
