TactStaff EDU is connecting with passionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) interested in opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year in Detroit, Michigan and surrounding communities.

We are seeking dedicated clinicians committed to supporting students in developing the skills needed for success in academic and daily school activities. Opportunities may include placements in public schools, charter schools, and specialized education programs across the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Michigan Occupational Therapist licensure

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

• NBCOT certification required

• Must meet Michigan Department of Education (MDE) requirements for school-based practice if applicable

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary school teams

Experience

• Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting

• Strong knowledge of IDEA and Michigan special education compliance standards

• Experience supporting students with fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skill development

• Ability to contribute to IEP development and implement therapy goals within the school environment

• Experience collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families
