MRI Technologist
TACT Staff is seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join the team of one of the most prominent hospitals in New Jersey. The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Duties:
  • Performs MRI on all patients and ensures the quality of the image before releasing the patient.
  • Positions and transfers patients.
  • Provides immobilization devices as required.
  • Selects proper technical factors and imaging parameters on an individual basis.
  • Consults with physician and/or reads physician=s orders to determine proper testing procedures according to established protocol.
  • Assists the physician in preparing and administering contrast material.
Requirements:
  • ARRT MRI
  • Valid NJ Licensure in Diagnostic Radiology
  • 2 years’ of hands-on professional experience as a MRI Technologist.
