Echocardiography Technician
TACT STAFF is seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our team! As an Echocardiography Technician, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to assess heart function, assist in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions, and contribute to developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiographic procedures, including 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and stress echocardiograms
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address any questions or concerns
• Operate echocardiography equipment and adjust settings for optimal image acquisition
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures
Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Echocardiography or a related field
• Active certification as an Echocardiography Technician by a nationally recognized agency such as ARDMS or CCI
• Active licensure in the state you are applying to (if required)
• 2+ years of experience as an Echocardiography Technician
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Proficient in the use of echocardiography equipment and imaging software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
