Prestigious oncology medical center based out of Manhattan, NY is seeking Registered Dietitians for immediate hire!

Pay: $45-50 per hour (ask about our travel rates if >50 mi from facility!)

Available Shifts: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (weekend rotation + additional weekends if needed)

* 6 month contract role with possibility of extension*

Job Duties:

Under general supervision of the Associate Director of Nursing and in accordance with Physician or Physician, job duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide comprehensive nutrition care to a variety of oncology inpatients.
• Conduct nutrition focused physical exams, document malnutrition, assess nutrition needs and develop, implement/reevaluate care plans for patients of all ages.
• Provide cross coverage for other inpatient units as assigned.
• Educate patients and family members and communicate patient issues to the health care team.
• Document clinical assessments appropriately and maintains accurate, complete records.
• Make a continuous effort to improve job performance and to develop work-related skills and expertise

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree - required/ Master's degree - preferred
• Minimum of 2-years experience, with at least one year in critical care, oncology nutrition, or hospital setting
• NYSED Dietician License
