Cath Lab Technologist
TACT Staff is seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join the team of one of the most prominent hospitals in upstate New York The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Duties:
  • Performs and interprets electrocardiograms and other diagnostic tests.
  • Helps doctors diagnose blood vessels and heart problems.
  • Assists doctors during medical procedures, including stent implants.
  • Makes patients feel comfortable during tests and procedures.
  • Works with doctors, nurses, and other medical and administrative staff.
  • Ensures all tools and equipment are in good condition and stocks supplies.
  • Notifies doctors and nurses about patient test results.
  • Keeps detailed patient medical records.
  • Uses electronic health record software (EHR).
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and other medical standards.
  • Follows all healthcare facility policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • ARRT & ACLS
  • NYS Radiology Licensure
  • 1 year of hands-on professional experience in Cath Lab.
