Job Summary:
The Neuro ICU Registered Nurse provides specialized care to patients with neurological conditions, ensuring comprehensive monitoring, treatment, and support. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing complex neuro patient needs in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neuro patients’ conditions, including neurological status and vital signs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and protocol.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond swiftly to neurological emergencies, including changes in mental status or vital signs.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and industry standards for critical care nursing.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active CA RN license with valid certifications such as ACLS and BLS.
• Possess at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience, with a focus on neuro or critical care.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Have current Epic experience and neuro ICU experience preferred.
• Be able to float to ED, Step Down, or Central Monitoring units as needed.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
