Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist will provide advanced respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients within the facility, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, performing critical procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including aerosol, BIPAP, and ventilator management.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings to ensure patient stability and safety.
• Perform invasive procedures such as intubation and arterial line insertion.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams during rounding and patient care planning.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately using Meditech.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and maintain certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in ICU, ER, or critical adult care settings.
• Have current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and invasive procedures.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, in a 24/7 facility.
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach to patient care.
