Job Summary:
Assist in the reprocessing and sterilization of surgical instruments to ensure safety and compliance with clinical standards. Collaborate with surgical teams to provide sterile equipment ready for procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Reprocess surgical instruments according to established protocols and sterilization standards.
• Verify completeness and functionality of surgical instrumentation before use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sterilization area.
• Follow safety guidelines and documentation procedures for sterilization processes.
• Assist surgical teams by preparing and passing sterile equipment during procedures.
• Adhere to holiday work requirements and schedule expectations.

Qualifications:

• Minimize 2 years of experience in surgical instrument reprocessing or related clinical environment.
• Possess or be willing to obtain HSPA Certification.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to work M-F 7am-3:30pm and handle work during major holidays.
