Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care within the inpatient rehab department, focusing on patients with neurological and surgical rehabilitation needs. Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and interpret laboratory results, vital signs, and patient health questionnaires to inform treatment plans.
• Prepare and perform sterile dressing changes and setup aseptic procedures for patient care.
• Collect and label specimens such as blood, urine, and throat swabs, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Conduct telephone triage, manage pharmacy calls, and address patient refill requests efficiently.
• Support specialized care for complex cases including CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and generalized debility.
• Assist with patient assessments, medication reconciliation, and documentation in the EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records.
• Possess acute care rehab experience and familiarity with lab interpretation and patient assessments.
• Successful completion of EKG exam with up to 2 attempts.
• Be a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
• No open background check cases or recent travel restrictions within the last year.
