Job Details

Job Summary:
Provides non-invasive clinical support in a busy outpatient setting under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers. Responsible for patient preparation, basic clinical procedures, and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities:

• Set up exam rooms and prepare patients for appointments.
• Obtain vital signs, perform venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing as ordered.
• Document patient information, update records, and verify insurance details.
• Assist with patient check-in, appointments scheduling, and maintaining patient recall systems.
• Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls appropriately.
• Order and maintain office supplies and medical inventory.

Qualifications:

• Hold a high school diploma or GED; relevant healthcare experience preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification from an approved vendor.
• At least two years of recent clinical experience in a similar setting.
• Proficient in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
