Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, the Labor and Delivery RN ensures patient safety and comfort throughout all stages of childbirth. This role requires a skilled professional capable of managing high-pressure situations and coordinating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal heartbeat and maternal vital signs to assess fetal well-being and labor progress.
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered by physicians to support labor and delivery.
• Assist in delivery procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and patient safety.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to mothers and their families during labor and postpartum.
• Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with obstetric and neonatal teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
