Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care within a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU setting, focusing on neuro patients. Responsible for delivering quality patient care during night shifts, adhering to unit protocols, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced patient care to neuro ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs and managing complex conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, providing critical interventions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control procedures, and hospital policies.
• Support patient and family education related to care and condition management.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years ICU experience, preferably neuro ICU.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required.
• Possess neuro-specific nursing experience and skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR with at least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) with flexibility for call rotations.
• Must be actively licensed and eligible to work in the state of assignment.
