Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to LTAC patients, focusing on neuro, MS, and TELE-specific needs. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols in a fast-paced, extended care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor patient care, including neuro-focused treatments and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress, symptoms, and treatments accurately within the EMR system.
• Support patient and family education regarding condition management and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with BLS, ACLS, and NIH standards, maintaining current certifications.
• Respond to on-call needs after hours and during weekends, supporting continuous patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid MS/TELE RN license with at least 2 years of recent LTAC experience.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of recent experience with Epic EMR.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Have neuro exposure and experience working in LTAC or similar critical care environments.
• Be able to float to other units within Prisma Health facilities as needed.
