Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment requiring strong OR experience. Must be adaptable to floating within the facility and available for day shifts on a 4x10 schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the OR.
• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes swiftly.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
• Adhere to all facility policies, including call-out and RTO procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid NY State license (or have applied) with recent experience within the last year.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of OR nursing experience, with a focus on orthopedic procedures.
• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Be flexible to float and work day shifts on 4x10-hour schedules.
• Comply with travel and facility-specific policies, including RTO and call-off regulations.
