Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care in an outpatient surgical and endoscopy setting, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes. Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing staff, collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and collect relevant patient data to inform care plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities, delegating tasks appropriately to team members.
• Educate patients and families, providing clear health information and discharge instructions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain a safe, effective, and patient-centered environment.

Qualifications:

• Current CA Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in outpatient surgery, endoscopy, or perioperative nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors required.
• Experience with moderate sedation, fast-paced outpatient settings, and EPIC EMR preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pre-op and PACU phase II workflows, including open heart and joint patients.
• Ability to work the day shift, 4 days a week, with rotating days off.
