Job Summary:
The RN ICU provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. This role involves assessing patient conditions, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Flexibility to float to the Emergency Department is required.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and patient responses.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, care activities, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Float to the Emergency Department as needed, providing immediate and effective care in high-pressure situations.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare standards, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess valid and current RN licensure.
• Have ICU nursing experience, with the ability to manage critically ill patients.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment and vital sign monitoring skills.
• Hold current certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments, including the ED.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
