Job Summary:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, ensuring their safety and optimizing clinical outcomes. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and continuously monitor the physical and emotional status of surgical patients.
• Collect, document, and review patient data, diagnostic results, and physician notes to inform care planning.
• Maintain aseptic techniques, create and sustain sterile fields, and anticipate equipment needs for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and ancillary staff to execute surgical plans efficiently and safely.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, reassess patient status, and modify care plans as needed.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, changes in patient condition, and unforeseen complications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State of California Registered Nurse License.
• Possess American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have at least two years of operating room nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with orthopedic, general, and ENT surgeries, and familiarity with surgical equipment such as Arthrex, Depuy, and Synthes.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
