Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for orthopedic, neuro, and pediatric post-op patients. The ideal candidate will deliver patient-centered nursing services in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and monitor patient vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative procedures and recovery guidelines.
• Document patient status and treatment outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with post-op orthopedic and spine surgical care, including care for podiatry patients.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort throughout shifts.

Qualifications:

• Current valid RN license with at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience.
• BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Experience with Meditech EMR and orthopedic/post-op care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of post-operative orthopedic and spine surgery procedures.
