Job Summary:
The Telemetry Nurse specializes in providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac monitoring needs in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves managing complex patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data to detect patient arrhythmias and other cardiac issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately in the Epic system.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergent patient situations, including code responses or rapid interventions.
• Maintain compliance with all certification requirements, including BLS and ACLS, and adhere to facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Have at least 2 years of recent MS/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Capable of floating within scope to meet unit needs.
• Able to work 3x12 night shifts, including every other weekend, with on-call availability as needed.
