Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. This role involves managing a diverse patient population during night shifts, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective clinical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Epic electronic health record system
• Respond promptly to emergencies and stabilize patients as needed
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management

Qualifications:

• Hold an active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred
• Exhibit proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Possess the ability to work night shifts and occasional on-call duties
