Job Summary:
Seeking a Medical Assistant with outpatient clinic experience to support OB-GYN procedures and patient care. This role involves providing clinical assistance in a fast-paced outpatient setting, ensuring smooth operations and quality patient service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws, lab tests, and venipuncture with proficiency.
• Assist with OB-GYN procedures such as PAP, colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon, and NST.
• Support patient intake, preparation, and education for various gynecological services.
• Maintain clinical cleanliness, equipment sterilization, and supply inventory.
• Document patient information and procedures accurately in electronic health records.
• Float between primary and satellite clinics as needed, adapting to different workflows.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited school listed on the DAPIP website.
• Possess at least 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, with 1 year in OB-GYN.
• Have a valid California Medical Assistant certification and current BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Demonstrate proficiency in blood draws, lab procedures, and OB-GYN-specific interventions.
• Be flexible to float to different locations as required.
• Have updated references within the past year from supervisory roles.
