Job Summary:
Seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services in a hospital setting. The provider will manage a diverse patient population across multiple age groups and diagnoses, with a focus on delivering comprehensive mental health care.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with various psychiatric conditions in inpatient and emergency settings.
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care on a 7 am – 7 pm shift, including participating in a rotating schedule with 1-2 nights on-call per week.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including APPs, social workers, and discharge teams, to ensure quality patient management.
• Utilize EPIC EMR to document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
• Admit, treat, and discharge patients while managing a caseload of an average of 24 patients per day.
• Maintain flexibility to see all ages and diagnoses, including adolescent and adult populations in hospital consults and ER.

Qualifications:

• Must be Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Demonstrate experience with inpatient psychiatric care and emergency consults.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR documentation and clinical procedures.
• Willingness to work with a psychiatrist team on a 7-day on/off schedule.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across inpatient and ER settings.
• Must be able to start promptly and complete a full orientation.
