Job Summary:
This surgical role requires a highly skilled technician to support a Level 3 trauma center, specializing in orthopedic total joints, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures. The position involves four days of 10-hour shifts with scheduled call duties and on-call coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during orthopedic total joint, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries with precision.
• Respond promptly to hospital calls within 30 minutes, coordinating with the surgical team.
• Support surgical team preparation, including setup and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, including weekend and overnight shifts.
• Ensure all surgical procedures adhere to safety, sterility, and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and operative success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience supporting orthopedic, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including scheduled call and emergency coverage.
• Strong understanding of surgical sterilization, instrumentation, and aseptic techniques.
• Certification as a surgical technologist or equivalent credential.
• Ability to respond swiftly and effectively to urgent surgical needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
