Job Summary:
Seeking a registered nurse for a 12-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, providing care for patients with respiratory, renal, diabetic, infectious, cardiac, and hematologic illnesses. This role involves night shifts with a flexible schedule and the opportunity for an extended assignment through January 2027.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Comply with facility policies, including float policies and travel regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid VA nursing license or pending license in good standing.
• Epic electronic medical record system experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) and flexible scheduling.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
