Job Summary:
Providing advanced emergency medical care, the Ambulance Paramedic delivers essential pre-hospital services to patients in need. The role encompasses assessment, treatment, and transportation of patients, ensuring high-quality, population-specific care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency medications and interventions in accordance with state regulations and protocols.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, establishing priorities and determining appropriate treatment plans.
• Document all assessments and treatments accurately using the WATRS reporting system, complying with Wyoming state statutes.
• Maintain ambulance and station readiness by ensuring cleanliness, proper stocking, and routine maintenance.
• Assist with medical treatments for patients in other hospital departments as directed by providers and RNs within scope of practice.
• Prioritize tasks efficiently to manage time, personnel, and resources to meet department standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Paramedic license and certification to practice within Wyoming.
• Proven experience in emergency medical services and pre-hospital care.
• Strong knowledge of emergency medication administration and population-specific treatment protocols.
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and independently in high-stress situations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
