Job Summary:
This Respiratory Therapist position specializes in pediatric and neonatal care within a Level 4 NICU and Peds Cardiac unit. The role involves providing advanced respiratory therapy services to critically ill children during night shifts, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and interventions to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust therapies as prescribed.
• Document patient care and clinical observations accurately in the Epic electronic health record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with all certification, licensure, and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in code situations when required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CRT certification, RLS, PALS, and NRPC.
• Possess at least 2 years of pediatric, neonatal, and infant respiratory care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR systems.
• Maintain South Carolina RRT license or be able to obtain one prior to start.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work night shifts consistently.
• Have current BLS certification and meet the laboratory and compliance requirements.
