Job Summary:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for IMC/PCU/Stepdown with night shift coverage. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care within a fast-paced, Float policy environment, requiring adherence to safety standards and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly and appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans.
• Document patient progress accurately in Epic and adhere to medical policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Float within scope of practice across assigned units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia state nursing license with all actions verified via Nursys.
• Demonstrate recent Epic electronic health record experience.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have at least one year of relevant clinical experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit.
• Be able to work 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Willingness to adhere to UVAs float policy and occupancy requirements.
