Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment, supporting a variety of procedures including general, orthopedic, neuro, and ENT surgeries. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through skilled nursing and coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams with instrumentation, patient positioning, and maintaining sterile conditions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels before, during, and after procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for scheduled surgeries.
• Educate patients and families on perioperative procedures, recovery processes, and post-op care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures, patient information, and nursing interventions.
• Manage on-call duties, including weekend and evening shifts, to provide continuous patient care and support.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years surgical nursing experience, preferably in neuro-related procedures.
• Proficiency with Hana Tables, Stryker, Arthrex, and Medacta equipment.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical protocols, and patient safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure surgical environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with surgical teams and support staff.
