Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in an outpatient dialysis setting, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with policies and standards. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, and legal requirements.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately according to established standards.
• Develop, initiate, and evaluate personalized care plans based on patient needs and physician directives, including patient and family education.
• Participate in department performance improvement initiatives and support shared governance efforts.
• Utilize clinical expertise and guidance to assist other units and departments in maintaining comprehensive patient care.
• Employ critical thinking to ensure patient safety and optimal patient experience, escalating concerns appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Wisconsin RN license.
• Have a verified education credential in nursing.
• Maintain current AHA Provider Level BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience or knowledge in outpatient dialysis nursing or similar clinical settings.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
