Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized critical care to patients in a high-volume ICU setting. They will deliver comprehensive nursing care aligned with hospital protocols and patient needs, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care using advanced critical care skills, including central lines, bronchoscopy, and bedside trachs.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in Meditech system.
• Float to other ICU units as needed, maintaining flexibility to support hospital operations.
• Comply with hospital policies, including dress code, body art, piercings, and shift attendance.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in Texas.
• Possess at least 2 years of critical care experience in ICU.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EHR system.
• Have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Rotoprone, CRRT (Prismaflex), and advanced ICU procedures preferred.
