Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide clinical support to patients under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, assisting in implementing treatment plans and ensuring quality patient care. This role involves documentation, equipment management, and adherence to facility standards to promote patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Complete documentation and required reports in compliance with facility policies and external agencies.
• Set up and maintain equipment necessary for patient therapy sessions.
• Monitor patients’ progress and report observations to supervising therapists.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and privacy protocols at all times.
• Support patient education and motivate individuals through therapeutic exercises.

Qualifications:

• Active license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Prior experience in setting up and conducting physical therapy treatments.
• Strong understanding of modalities and equipment used in therapy.
• Proven ability to document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
