Job Summary:
The Radiation Therapy Technologist is responsible for delivering safe and precise ionizing radiation treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions. The role involves preparing treatment plans, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring patients receive quality care throughout their therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments accurately following prescribed protocols and imaging assessments.
• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, including constructing immobilization devices and shielding as needed.
• Obtain, evaluate, and adjust treatment portals and images to ensure proper field placement.
• Perform calculations for monitors units and treatment parameters, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatment delivery and patient progress.
• Conduct routine quality assurance procedures on treatment and simulation equipment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• Registered by the ARRT in Radiation Therapy and hold a current applicable license.
• Possess 1-2 years of experience in radiation therapy with True Beam and Simulator equipment.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, compassion, and adaptability.
• Ability to lift, push, and stand for extended periods, supporting physical demands of the role.
