Job Summary:
Assists licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient-centered rehabilitation services. Provides therapeutic treatments and supports patient recovery goals under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with active and passive exercises, gait training, and functional activities.
• Operate and utilize therapeutic equipment such as ultraviolet lamps and ultrasonic machines.
• Monitor, record, and report patient responses and progress to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care techniques and activity modifications.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation promptly and in compliance with agency standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting.
• Be licensed as a PTA in NH and VT.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with agency-level auto insurance.
• Have excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Demonstrate ability to follow treatment plans and document progress thoroughly.
