Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, delivering evidence-based interventions to improve respiratory function and overall patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapy procedures including ventilator management, airway management, and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and optimize clinical outcomes.
• Document all procedures, assessments, and interventions accurately in patient records.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current, active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Proven ability to operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
