Job Summary:
Provide bedside nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting during a 20-week winter coverage assignment. Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital policies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and document relevant clinical information accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs, observe patient responses, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including certifications and travel requirements.
• Complete required modules and assessments for ongoing credentialing and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry.
• Be actively certified in BLS and ACLS, with NIHHS preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass safeMedicate exam during orientation.
• Provide one recent reference from a manager, supervisor, ANM, or director within the past 12 months.
• Be able to pass drug screening including negative nicotine tests within 12 months.
