Job Summary:
Provide skilled medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients in a telemetery unit during a 20-week assignment, with flexible start dates and scheduling options. Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and facility requirements to deliver safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs accurately.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, responding appropriately to arrhythmias.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly in adherence to facility protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Complete required assessments, including NIHSS, and participate in orientation sessions.
• Maintain current certifications (BLS, ACLS) and secure any additional required licensing.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent perm experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry.
• Demonstrate experience with ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Provide one recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the last 12 months.
• Be willing to complete required modules and assessments pre-start and annually.
• Be nicotine-free for all non-nurse travelers, with negative drug screens within the last 12 months.
