Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care and support to patients with breathing disorders in a hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective respiratory therapy interventions and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and devices.
• Document patient progress and therapy details accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and family members on respiratory care plans and equipment usage.
• Comply with all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license and appropriate certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical respiratory care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR or similar electronic health record systems.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
• Maintain current healthcare provider background checks.
