Job Summary:


The Nurse Manager of Infusion Services oversees the clinical operations of the infusion department, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements. This leadership role involves managing staff, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance department performance.



Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and evaluation of nursing activities within the infusion department.
  
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering professional development and adherence to policies.
  
• Develop and manage department budgets, monitoring costs and optimizing resource utilization.
  
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, laws, and regulatory agencies, including Joint Commission and CMS.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and improve clinical outcomes.
  
• Drive quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a valid, full RN license in Alaska at the time of submittal.
  
• Possess at least 5 years of professional nursing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in immunotherapy/chemo administration.
  
• Have 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a clinical setting.
  
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
  
• Maintain current ACLS certification; PALS and NRP preferred.
