Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing services to ICU patients in a high-acuity environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety. This travel position requires adapting quickly to the unit's dynamic setting and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced patient care interventions to trauma, post-surgical, and high-acuity cardiac patients.
• Monitor and operate complex equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, ECMO, and hypothermia devices.
• Perform procedures including chest tube placement, central line insertion, and medication drips management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system.
• Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS certifications; NIH and TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing trauma, post-CABG, and post-TAVR patients.
• Have experience with advanced critical care equipment and procedures.
• Travel experience to large trauma centers is a plus.
• Exhibit driven, organized, efficient work ethic with a positive, engaged attitude.
