Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to neonatal intensive care unit patients. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver optimal care and ensure patient safety during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonate patients requiring respiratory support to deliver appropriate interventions.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment such as GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo HFNC.
• Administer standard respiratory procedures including nebulizers, arterial blood gases, and ventilator management.
• Assist with intubation, bronchoscopy, and transportation of mechanically ventilated patients within the hospital.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system (Meditech).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license and credentials.
• Minimum of 1 year of adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting.
• Hands-on experience with critical care equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating weekends and night shifts.
