Job Description
Job Summary:
Assist patients with daily living activities in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Provide compassionate care to ensure residents' comfort and safety while supporting the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic patient care activities including hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Document resident conditions and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
- Assist with resident activities and promote a supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and resident interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required.
- Proven experience working in LTC or SNF environments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and support residents safely.
- Must have current certification and valid state registration.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
