Job Summary:
Provides urgent and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients with acute conditions. Supervises nursing staff, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and maintains a safe and efficient environment for patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients quickly upon arrival to determine priority of care and stabilizing needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on assessment data.
• Coordinate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver timely interventions.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and response to treatment accurately and thoroughly.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards of care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in emergency or acute care nursing preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Demonstrated ability to perform rapid assessment, critical thinking, and effective communication.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple patient needs.
