Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac and vital signs to ensure patient stability. Deliver skilled, compassionate support in a fast-paced hospital environment, adhering to healthcare standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and establish individualized care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously, responding promptly to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
• Provide patient education and support to promote recovery and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in telemetry nursing or similar acute care settings.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to float to West Campus as needed.
• Flexibility to work 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.
