Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a Level II Trauma Center. The RN will provide specialized care for cardiac, neuro, and post-procedural patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac, neurological, and post-procedural needs.
• Interpret telemetry and manage vasoactive drips within PCU scope.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered, high-quality care.
• Monitor, document, and report patient status using the EPIC system.
• Respond to rapid response calls and participate in emergency procedures such as TEEs and cardioversions.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols, including handling chest tubes, PCA pumps, and high-flow oxygen therapy.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license and applicable state licensure.
• Demonstrate telemetry interpretation skills and experience managing advanced cardiac cases.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Have at least 2 years of recent progressive care or ICU experience.
• Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
