Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled RN for the Med Surg Neuro Unit with specialized neuro experience. The ideal candidate will have recent travel experience and demonstrate proficiency in neurology patient care within a large hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro patients in the Med Surg unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Implement physician’s orders accurately and monitor patient progress regularly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Document patient information and clinical interventions in compliance with hospital policies.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain compliance with all safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state or compact license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience, with 3+ years preferred, including neuro experience.
• At least one prior travel assignment completed successfully.
• Strong clinical skills in neuro and medical-surgical patient care.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 to 19:00).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
