Job Details

Job Summary:
Assists in providing patient care in a Medical Surgical unit under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and recovery through competent nursing interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, conditions, and responses to treatments.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid LVN/LPN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
