Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and compassionate patient support during childbirth and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor fetal and maternal conditions during labor and delivery.
• Perform assessments of mothers and newborns, documenting progress and vital signs.
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures.
• Educate patients on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Maintain sterile environments and uphold infection control standards.
• Document all clinical interventions accurately in patient records.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Require BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
• Demonstrate experience in Labor and Delivery or maternal-child nursing.
• Possess strong assessment and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and rotate through postpartum and couplet care units.
