Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to oversee dialysis patient care in an outpatient setting. The role involves managing patient PODs, setting up dialysis machines, and ensuring quality care delivery during scheduled shifts.



Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate dialysis treatment sessions for a 4-patient POD, including machine setup and stringing.
  
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to treatment protocols and safety standards.
  
• Manage patient flow and ensure efficient use of resources across dialysis stations.
  
• Document patient care accurately within the electronic health record system, utilizing EPIC.
  
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies, including BLS requirements.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a valid NY State RN license in hand prior to submission.
  
• Possess at least 1 year of dialysis nursing experience, preferably in outpatient or chronic care settings.
  
• Demonstrate charge nurse or leadership experience in a clinical environment.
  
• Be capable of running a 4-patient POD and managing dialysis machines.
  
• Be willing to float across all dialysis locations within the facility.
